Flywheel-Based Energy System

The VSS+DC flywheel-based, clean-energy storage system provides power for networks and data centers.

The system works with uninterruptible power supplies and delivers up to 190-kW power and up to 2,700-kW/sec energy. The unit, which weighs only 1,300 lb, seamlessly transfers to an engine generator during extended power outages.
