The module is supported by Linux, Windows CE and XP, FreeBSD, and DOS. The PPM-Gigabit has a direct 32-bit PCI interface in both full and half-duplex environments, and handles traffic with low network latency and minimal internal processing overhead. The module will autodetect and configure itself to the speed of the link partner. It incorporates the latest DSP architecture that implements digital adaptive equalization, echo cancellation, and cross-talk cancellation for improved performance in noisy environments. The PPM-Gigabit measures 90 X 96 mm, weighs 84 gm, requires only 5 V at 270 mA, and operates from 0 to 70°C.
