The alpha SP+ and alpha TP+ gearboxes have received an updated look and higher technical specifications.Depending on the version, the gearboxes also feature up to 25% higher torque, raising power density. The gearboxes can be designed into existing systems with a new version of cymex3.2 servo-sizing tool, which has an integrated calculator for energy consumption. Additional features of the new design include reduced inertia option, SP+ with extreme high-speed option, and SP+ with hollow (shrink-disc) output.Wittenstein, 1249 Humbracht Circle, Bartlett, IL 60103, (888) 534-1222, www.wittenstein-us.com/Precision-Gearboxes/Inline-Gearboxes/alpha-SP.html
