Precision Glass Balls resist corrosion and chemical absorption, and are about one-third the weight of stainless-steel balls.

Soda-lime and borosilicate glass balls come in various colors in matte, ground, or polished finishes, and can meet 100,000/10,000 clean-room standards. They are dimensionally stable, withstand temperatures to 600°F, and come in sizes from 0.031 to 1.25 in. (0.8 to 31.75 mm).
