    Magnetic particle brakes and clutches handle up to 300 lb-ft torque, making them ideal for payout and rewind tension control, load simulation (for testing motors and actuators), torque limiting, and soft starts and stops.

    Slip torque is precise, smooth, and silent. Torque is proportional to dc input current and is independent of slip rpm. A threaded port accepts compressed air to boost heat dissipation.
