Milling Machines

The PCNC 1100 CNC three-axis milling machine offers the same strength, power, and accuracy to cut high-performance alloys as larger, more expensive machines, the manufacturer claims.
Nov. 9, 2006

It combines cast-iron construction with CNC technology, weighs 1,130 lb, and comes with a 1.5-hp spindle suitable for short runs and prototyping as well as secondary operations. With a modern bed mill style frame, the machine cuts iron, steel, titanium, and even chromium alloys such as 300 or 400-Series stainless. It features a 4,500-rpm variable-speed spindle, dovetail ways, ground ball screws, 15-point lubrication system, and full-bellows covers. The standard 33.5 X 9.5-in. table and 17-in. vertical clearance provide a work envelope for most small or medium parts.
