Miniature Diaphrage Pumps

Feb. 17, 2005
SMF 2 Series miniature diaphragm pumps target medical, laboratory, industrial, or food and beverage applications requiring high accuracy dosing of low-viscosity liquids.

These pumps measure 3.35 in. (85 mm) in length and weigh 6.4 oz (0.18 kg). Rated fluid flow is up to 52.5 ml/min and maximum pressure is 1.16 psig (80 mbar). Flow per stroke can range from 0.1 to 0.25 ml. Suitable for continuousduty use, the SMF 2 pump provides longlife,-quiet operation, and low power consumption. EPDM valve and diaphragm materials are standard, with others available for special needs. The pumps are self-priming and may safely be run dry. An integrated flow stop function prevents drain-off when the pump is at rest. Flow repeatability of 5% or better comes from use of a microprocessorbased electronic oscillator board with eight preset frequencies. Both 12 and 24-Vdc versions are available as standard. Ac-powered pumps are also available.
