The 6600 Series of 10-mm and 16-mm valves from Burkert Contromatic Corp.

The 6600 Series of 10-mm and 16-mm valves from Burkert Contromatic Corp., Irvine, Calif., minimizes dead volumes or the amount of fluid left in the valve when flow stops. This prevents cross-contamination, a must for medical equipment. An isolating diaphragm completely separates the actuator from the fluid for easy maintenance and to prevent contamination. A stainless-steel plate thermally isolates the coil from the fluid being pumped. The two and three-way valves also mount easily to manifolds because all valve inlets are on one side. Made of PEEK, PVDF or ETFE plastic, the valves are based on the Type 127 rocker style design which has been proven to last millions of cycles.
