New Product: Adjustable and fixed setpoint flow switches handle 1,000 to 5,000 PSIG

Oct. 11, 2007
The 30000 Series adjustable and fixed setpoint flow switches control processes or initiate high-low alarms or indicators at line pressures ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 psig.

The flow switches are small in size so they can mount inline, either vertically or horizontally. Adjustable flow switches come in fixed-orifice models for low-flow applications from 0 to 2 to 0 to 40 gph (liquid)/1.5 to 5 scfm (gas). Variableorifice models handle 0 to 1 to 0 to 30 gpm/1.5 to 10 to 1 to 100 scfm. Both families incorporate adjustable, hermetically sealed, reed switches. They come with or without enclosures, depending on the model. Options include large, easy-to-read dials, liquid- filled dials, reverse flow, red or multicolor arcs, and others. Fixed setpoint flow switches are factory preset in six steps from 0.1 to 1.5 gpm. The switches use solid brass or stainless-steel pistons and pressure bodies, and stainless-steel springs for reliable, long-term use up to 1,000 psig where shock and vibration are common.
