New Product: Air wipe resists corrosion

Nov. 8, 2007
The stainless-steel Super Air Wipe produces a 360° airstream that blows off, cleans, or cools material passing through its center.

The unit’s split design permits mounting around continuously moving materials, such as pipe, hose, cable, wire, and extruded shapes. A small amount of compressed air is ejected through a thin slotted nozzle that pulls in high volumes of surrounding room air. An instant on/off control varies air velocity. Coupling brackets that hold each half of the Air Wipe together can be latched together or quickly removed. Additional shims can be installed if more blow-off force is required. The units are available in , 1, 2, 3, and 4-in. diameters.
