New Product: CCD Image Sensor

Feb. 7, 2008
The KAI-01050 progressive-scan interline transfer CCD image sensor has a 1,024 × 1,024 array of 5.5-micron pixels that is 45% smaller than its predecessors but still retain dynamic range, quantum efficiency, and responsivity.

The sensor’s quad-output architecture permits 120 frames/sec readout speeds in a -in. optical format for improved throughput. Other features include a reduction in smear to –10 dB and a low-noise amplifier that enhances performance in lowlight applications.
