New Product: Heavy-duty in-line solenoid valves

Oct. 11, 2007
Viking Extreme heavy-duty industrial in-line valves use spool technology that makes them useful in pneumatic systems that must operate at extreme temperatures (–40 to 70?C).

They also withstand pressures to 16 bar. The valves have a ground-molded aluminum spool with overmolded rubber that eliminates the problems of seals deforming or extruding under high pressures or flow. Three versions of the valve are available: solenoid operated, remote air pilot, and manually actuated. There’s also a choice of ≠/8, ≠/4, ≥/8, and ≠/-in. port sizes. Each valve has an anodized aluminum body, a bore polished to high surface finish for higher flow capacity, thermoset plastic coils, stainless-steel fasteners, and anodized aluminum end caps. A porous sintered bronze vent plug keeps out contaminants and helps earn the valves an IP65 rating.
