New Product: Lens for machine vision

    The MacroVaron 85-mm f4.5 lens for flat-panel-display and printed circuit-board inspection systems features a new technology said to let the lens use ultrahigh-resolution down to 2.5 ?m over a large magnification range from 0.5× to 2.0×.

    The lens has low distortion and excellent chromatic correction. An iris-locking mechanism and sturdy design ensure reliable and precise measurements in even harsh high-vibration manufacturing environments.
