New Products: PLL voltage-controlled oscillator

Jan. 10, 2008
The PCC-A1-3100 PLL family of VCO’s cover frequencies ranging from 500 MHz to 3.5 GHz.

The unit consists of a PLL IC-loop filter and VCO. It typically uses a 10-MHz internal frequency reference but could also be customer specified. The design reduces lengthy programming time needed for discrete components. Typical operating supply voltage is 5 V @ 70 mA. The 3,100-MHz unit demonstrates a phase noise of –65db/cHz at 1kHz within a temperature range of –30 to 70°C. The package measures 25.4 31.75 5.08 mm.
