The A3425 omnipolar Hall-effect sensor is suitable for 3.6 to 24 V.

It can replace reed switches and eliminate the need for signal conditioning and magnet orientation for position-sensing applications during manufacturing. It also operates with either a north or south pole with sufficient strength turning the output on. In the absence of a magnetic field, the output is off. Offset cancellation reduces residual offset voltage normally caused by overmolding, temperature dependencies, and thermal stress. The A3425 includes a voltage regulator, Hall-voltage generator, small-signal amplifier, chopper stabilization, Schmitt trigger, and a short-circuit-protected open-collector output. Operating temperature range is 40 to 150°C.
