The design and control of five new NEMA-34, 86-mm-flange stepper motors provide high-precision and cost-effective positioning without an encoder system. The motors feature 4.0 to 13.6-Nm holding torque. The 80MPH Series 86-mm-flange stepper motors and the 80MPD 56-mm-flange motors are said to be among the most powerful motors currently available with regard to holding torque and length.

With an aluminum housing, the motors can conduct heat with the lowest possible thermal resistance, which reduces motor heating while increasing bearing lifespan. Close-fitting seals protect against oil loss and prevent dirt particles from penetrating
