Pressure switch from Turck has an operating range to 400 bar.

Accurate detection and display of system data is essential for optimizing process control. Turck, Plymouth, Minn., has introduced a versatile range of pressure switches that combine a sensitive piezoresistive measuring cell, microprocessor-based display, evaluation electronics, and a user-friendly operator interface.

The system is suited for relative pressure measurements, with operating ranges from 0 to 10, 40, 100, and 400 bar. The operating and display panel provides online pressure monitoring via a four-digit, seven-segment display; bargraph (10 LED) of active measuring range; programming and display in bar or psi; and identification of the two preset switching points. The pressure switches operate with 10 to 30 Vdc. Outputs are two-transistor pnp, short-circuit protected 200 mA.
