The miniature Guitar servodrive delivers up to 5 kW of continuous power and 70 A peak current.

The PCB-mounting unit provides servo performance, networking, and intelligent capabilities with a high-level programming environment. The Guitar operates in position, velocity, and current modes and contains a wide range of feedback and I/O options.

Additional features include use of company’s SimplIQ core motion-control technology, ultrahigh power density, CANopen networking, vector-control sinusoidal commutation, and advanced filtering and velocity-gain scheduling. The Guitar operates with a single dc bus of 11 to 195 Vdc with built-in smart controls that supply backup capabilities.
