Proximity Sensor

Sept. 28, 2006
The IWRM Series of inductive analog proximity sensors deliver precise noncontact proximity, position, and distance sensing for metal objects.

These heavy-duty sensors operate at 10 to 70°C and measure distances of 1 to 10 mm. The IWRM 04 detects very small (0 to 1-mm), very fast (<0.5-msec) movements at <100-nm resolution. The IWRM 12Z and IWRM 18Z cylindrical sensors have full-scale linearity, two outputs, and programming via a teach-in button.
