PTFE Liquid-Level Switches

March 3, 2005
PTFE liquid-level switches are for high-purity applications including medical/ pharmaceutical products and food or beverage dispensers, as well as for electronic component manufacturing, sterilization systems and applications that have strict biosafety standards.

The PTFE lets the switches withstand aggressive solvents such as alcohols, esters, and ketones, and corrosive acids and bases, oils, steam, and most chemicals. PTFE switches can withstand operating temperatures up to 260°C and caustic agents, making them suitable for sterilizers and biomedical equipment.
