Shore A polyurethanes - Innovative Polymers, Inc.

Sept. 2, 2010
The polyurethanes are for casting electronics and medical-equipment parts.

FX flame-retardant, Shore A hardness polyurethanes meet UL 94 V-0. The polymers have 10 to 15-min work life, and parts cast from the new products can be demolded in about 3 hr.
FX 8060's hardness is 60 Shore A, and it has 500-psi tensile strength, 230% elongation, and 65-pli tear strength. It mixes in a 75:100 ratio by weight to 1,000 cPs viscosity. FX 8070 has 70-Shore A hardness, 675-psi tensile strength, 230% elongation, and 80-pli tear strength. Its mix ratio is 80:100 by weight, and its mixed viscosity is 1,100 cPs. FX 8080 has 80-Shore A hardness, 950-psi tensile strength, 200% elongation, and 115-pli tear strength. Its mix ratio is 90:100 by weight, and its mixed viscosity is 1,000 cPs. FX 8090 has 90-Shore A hardness, 1,500-psi tensile strength, 200% elongation, and 165-pli tear strength. It mixes in a 1:1 ratio by weight to 900 cPs.
