Synchronous Motors

March 3, 2005
The RG Series torque-limited synchronous motors use a magnetic hysteresis coupling between the rotor and output shaft to product constant torque when stalled.

They have a long service life in the stalled condition without the need to switch off supply voltage. The motors are available in three standard sizes (35, 50, and 64) with operation at 50 and 60 Hz. IP40 rated, they offer operating voltages of 24, 115, or 230 V. The motors are suitable for applications requiring constant closing torque, such as valve/flap actuators.
