Temperture Controllers

March 17, 2005
DIN ETR-8300 and 1/8 DIN ETR-4300 temperature controllers feature digital MODBUS communications, several error-protection modes, remote set-point inputs, dual-input delta-T (differential) controls, heater alarms, and current monitoring.

They use an 18-bit a/d converter for high-resolution measurement. Inputs feature field-programmable selection of nine thermocouple sensors, two standard RTD curves, and six linear-process inputs. Each temperature controller has four independent programmable outputs for heating, cooling, and using alarms. Output options feature standard modules, plus three optional auxiliary power supplies for powering external transmitters, various sensors and other small devices. Digital communications use standard Modbus RTU protocols.
