May 17, 2010

Hard Lock Nuts use a wedge technique to maintain initial axial force and prevent loosening and breakage. The fasteners pass the American Vibration and Impact Test NAS 3350/NAS 3354 (National Aerospace Standard), Junker horizontal screw looseness tests, tensile strength, and torque/axial force tests even when loosened by 45°.
The two-piece nut installs with a wrench and is reusable. Shapes include standard, semi-thin, thin, and round, with custom shapes available.
