Water Sensor

April 13, 2006
New AS1000 water sensor continuously monitors hydraulic and lubrication fluids used in power plants, paper and steel mills, automotive plants, and offshore installations.

For instance, the device installs in hydraulic systems on plastic injection-molding machines and machine tools. The AS1000 attaches via a threaded connection and measures water content relative to the percent of water saturation in the fluid. Output signal is a 4 to 20 mA with a temperature-measurement range from 13 to 212°F. The product is CE approved and meets EMC requirements.
