AI Drives Manufacturing Technology Discussion at MD&M West
Even when you ask technology providers about machining or connected systems or automation, they all seem to want to talk about artificial intelligence.
It’s not only a critical buzzword in the manufacturing (and every other space) these days, it’s something that manufacturers are actively using to speed design iterations, specify materials for products, and craft components. At the MD&M West medical technology show in Anaheim, Calif., AI dominated most conversations for Rehana Begg, head of content at Machine Design, and Mike McLeod, the brand’s new senior editor whose first day on the job was on the show floor.
