GTR1: The supercar of the future

Galpin Auto Sports (GAS, Van Nuys, CA) puts a new spin on the Ford GT. Ford Motoring Company produced the GT sportscar from 2004-2006. In Galpin’s version, the GTR1, the car exceeds performance of its predecessor, pushing over 1,000 hp with a twin turbocharger and carbon brakes. GAS builds GTR1  by hand using refurbished Ford GT chassis and powertrains as the foundation. The body of the Ford GT gets replaced with an aluminum or carbon fiber body.
