One of the strangest features on a concept car at this year’s Detroit Auto Show came courtesy of Smartcar’s forstars, a small utility coupe. It has a projector in the hood that lets drivers pull up to a blank white or grey wall and put on an impromptu movie show. Video/audio can stream via Bluetooth over an iPhone. The car carries a high-end audio system so movies sound good as well. So why didn’t they put an industrial popcorn machine in the back?
