Mike Thiel is a retired engineer whose career began as U.S. Navy specialist working on gun fire-control computers, radar and electronic counter-countermeasures. He later had roles as an electronics technician and an electrical engineer working with material handling, robotics, and combustion hardware and software design. Electronics has always been a hobby for him, and he is always on the lookout for interesting projects to work on.
