If you live in a city that gets hit every now and then with snow storms, you're familiar with your daily commute going from 30 minutes to three hours, or at least hearing such horror stories from co-workers and neighbors. Driving home in one of those winter fiascos at an average of 2 mph can be a real pain: Will I get stuck? Will I run out of gas? Will my bladder last? Well imagine how it will be when a good percentage of the drivers are in electric vehicles, ones that have limited range or running times, and even that is further reduced by cold temperatures.
