Remember when FEA first started being built into CAD systems? Today, that capability is commonplace. But who would have ever thought that you could do analysis on your iPhone?

NEi Software says it will showcase its free FEA mobile application, NEi Stratus, at the Pacific Design & Manufacturing 2011 show. According to the company, the app will let users perform basic analysis and view results on their iPhone and iPad, anywhere and anytime. The program will be available by the beginning of the second fiscal quarter and will be initially offered free-of-charge, says the company. To see a demo
