There are more than a few bloggers and writers out there (like this one) claiming that Steve Jobs of Apple is a world-class inventor. Give me a break. That's like saying Rupert Murdoch or Arthur Sulzberger Jr. is a journalist. Or giving the CEO of Lockheed in 1966 credit for inventing the SR-71. I give Jobs all the credit in the world for running a successful hi-tech company, keeping employees happy and sending new products out the door. But inventor? Hogwash.
Steve serves as Senior Editor of Machine Design. He has 23 years of service and has a B.S. Biomedical Engineering from CWRU. Steve was a E-2C Hawkeye Naval Flight Officer in the U.S. Navy. He is currently responsible for areas such as aerospace, defense, and medical.
