Advances in powder metallurgy (PM) are growing and these designs are leading the way while challenging how some think of PM parts.

The Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) sponsored the recent 2016 Powder Metallurgy (PM) Design Excellence Awards competition in which complex and cost-saving parts in five categories were given grand prize, while six categories claimed multiple awards of distinction for PM design.
