HD Systems and Harmonic Drive Technologies, Nabtesco Announce Merger

HD Systems and Harmonic Drive Technologies, Nabtesco are pleased to announce the merger of the two companies. The newly formed company is named Harmonic Drive LLC.

Harmonic Drive LLC is committed to providing harmonic drive gearing and motion control products of the highest quality together with world class customer service and support. The company will employ approximately 90 people and be jointly owned by HD Systems, Inc. (51%) and Nabtesco USA, Inc. (49%).

The combined resources and technology of both companies will allow continued advances in the areas of service, manufacturing, and engineering of harmonic drive and other precision motion control products.

Harmonic Drive LLC will be led by Tetsuo Ikuta, President and Chief Executive Officer; Doug Olson, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer; Joe Yang, Executive Vice President and Chief Production Officer; and Ronald Golini, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
