Goodyear Engineered Products, Akron, Ohio, will expand into the hydraulics market via an alliance with Alfa Gomma S.p.A., an Italian company specializing in the hydraulic hose and fitting industry.

Goodyear Engineered Products, Akron, Ohio, will expand into the hydraulics market via an alliance with Alfa Gomma S.p.A., an Italian company specializing in the hydraulic hose and fitting industry. The relationship will let Goodyear provide a complete range of hydraulic hose classifications from R1 through R17 that meet Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and European Norm (EN) standards. Goodyear will also target maintenance and repair operations for industries such as manufacturing and steel, as well as supply industrial and transportation OEMs.
