The EP3HTSMED epoxy system, developed for rigorous bonding and sealing, features a rapid cure schedule, a tensile shear strength exceeding 1,000 psi, and is 100% reactive.

The silver-filled epoxy adhesive/sealant is electrically conductive with a volume resistivity less than 0.001  cm. The adhesive/ sealant works in –60 to 400°F, and is resistant to severe thermal cycling and many chemicals, including water, fuels, oil, and most organic solvents.

A thixotropic paste, EP3HTSMED has a specific gravity of 2.90 at 77°F. It requires no mixing, needs only contact pressure during a simple heat cure of 20 to 40 min at 300°F or 40 to 90 min at 250°F, minimal shrinkage during cure, and a 60 to 80 Shore D hardness.

The silver, one-component adhesive comes in syringes (shelf life of three months at room temperature) or glass jars (shelf life of 6 months).
