The Heluwind WK Powerline ALU aluminum power cables for wind turbines are made with a finely stranded aluminum core and wrapped with specially formulated, heat-resistant insulation and outer jacket, making them highly flexible and extremely durable with resistance to UV light, oil, and fire.

The Heluwind WK Powerline ALU aluminum power cables for wind turbines are made with a finely stranded aluminum core and wrapped with specially formulated, heat-resistant insulation and outer jacket, making them highly flexible and extremely durable with resistance to UV light, oil, and fire.

The flexible cable allows installation of one length of cable, which runs from behind the drip loop in the down tower area directly to the inverter in the tower base. It also requires only one splice — as opposed to the 80 previously required — between the copper loop cable and the power line, and a crimp cable lug to connect the power line to the inverter, reducing installation time from two to three days down to 4 to 6 hr.
