Stock and custom springs

April 25, 2014
New and expanded product lines featuring unique designs and corrosion-resistant materials are covered in the 2014 Stock Springs & Custom Springs catalog. Offerings include high-pressure compression springs and metric Bantam mini compression springs, as well as an expanded offering of HEFTY Die/Heavy Duty Springs.

In the stock-spring category, a unique line of low-index, high-pressure compression springs are designed to work in holes from 1/8 to 1 in. The 144 slender parts feature high load capacities and pressures rated to 300, 400, and 500 psi. A line of high-pressure compression springs in 17-7PH stainless steel balance corrosion resistance, high strength, and toughness for applications requiring firm, but not rigid springs designed with slender profiles, suitable for small spaces.

Designed for small spaces, Bantam Mini Compression Springs now include 108 new metric designs. These miniature stock springs combine strength with corrosion resistance using Elgiloy, a high-temperature resistant, nonmagnetic nickel alloy that is 10% stronger than Type 316 stainless steel. The Metric Bantam Series starts at wire diameter 0.10 mm with outside diameters from 0.81 to 1.65 mm.
