Downloadable digital cinema from CinemaElectric Inc., Los Angeles, lets you watch short movies on mobile phones, handheld and desktop computers, PDAs, and other personal electronics. PocketCinema relies on what's called Dense Media Format, which creates high and low-bandwidth content for both streaming and downloading. The studio produces fullmotion movies and animations, still images, operator logos, picture messages, animated screen savers, enhanced message service content, and multimedia message service content. Currently, the company is premiering four mobile content channels: Movie Messages (multimedia messaging), Electric Catwalk (global fashion), Action (sports/military), and Pocket Girls.
