Stage Advisor software from National Instruments, Austin, Tex., is a free Web-based tool that helps designers select the company's motion controllers and compatible stages from third-party suppliers.

Stage Advisor evaluates individual application requirements and generates a list of compatible NI and third-party products. Designers can search by application requirements, manufacturer, or specific model name. Data sheets are also available for instant comparison.
