Product Spotlight: Mini Polymer Bearings

March 6, 2008
Two new mini polymer bearings have been added to the igubal spherical-bearing family.

The mini plain bearing requires minimal installation space. The self-aligning bearing is light and compact, requires no lubrication, is simple to install, and adapts to angular misalignments.

The bearings are housed in igumide G — a reinforced polymer. The internal spherical ball is constructed of iglide L280 polymer for minimum friction with the shaft.

The rotational, swiveling, and oscillating movements of the selfsupporting shaft take place within the spherical cap, which has a dampening effect.
