Solenoid-Operated Poppet Valves

Lexair Inc.
March 23, 2000

Lexair Inc., Lexington, Ky., introduces a new line of direct solenoid-operated, two-way poppet valves. The valves are suitable for vacuum, low-pressure, and high-pressure applications. Pulse-width-modulated solenoid electronics produce low solenoid-holding currents, which is said to reduce heat and power consumption. The noncorrosive valves are bronze, brass, and stainless steel. They are available in NPT pipe sizes from 0.25 to 2 in. and work from 29-in. Hg vacuum to 500-psi air. A range of seal options is also available.
