The Nova temperature-independent lubrication system can be used within a temperature range of –4 to 140°F. A discharge period of 1 to 12 months can be programmed by pushing the selection button on the control unit. A built-in temperature sensor periodically measures the ambient temperature, and the control unit calculates how much hydrogen gas to generate. The gas moves a piston to dispense lubricant. The lubricant canister holds 130 cc of grease or oil.
