Surface-Mount Caps For Inductive Heating

April 27, 2006
The HQL Series of Hi-Q surface-mount capacitors handles high power and voltages in RF and microwave applications such as inductive heating, RF power amplifiers, and medical and industrial electronics.

The multilayer, leaded capacitors run cooler at high RF current levels as compared to similar devices and have a capacitance range of 4.7 to 6,800 pF with a dissipation factor of 0.1% maximum. They operate in a temperature range of 55 to 125°C. A nonmagnetic version is available for high-magnetic-field environments such as MRI coils.
