A line of application-specific hose and connectors for truck and bus exhaust-gas-recirculation (EGR) engines are designed to handle stress and airflow of extremely high engine compartment temperatures and increased pressures from large-capacity radiators.
Leak-free hydraulic hose connectors include the Quick-Lok and GLP couplings for low-pressure, high-temperature applications, and MegaCrimp couplings for high-pressure applications. MegaTech hoses exceed SAE J1019 standards for high-temperature and hotoil applications and have a 300°F constant temperature rating. Recommended uses are for power steering, airbrake, transmission oil cooler, fuel line, and AC applications.
