Miniature Vacuum Sensor

Sept. 15, 2005
The 3D Miniature B/A Sensor is a Bayard Alpert (B/A) ionization gage with a supported dual filament.

It is said to provide highly accurate vacuum measurement from 10 10 to 10 2 Torr. The stainless-steel-enclosed sensor is a fraction of the volume of traditional glass-envelope sensors and thus reportedly provides faster response times to changes in pressure when close-coupled to a vacuum chamber.
