Heat-Shrinkable Peek Tubing

May 11, 2006
PEEKshrink is a heat-shrinkable polymer tubing that provides a protective layer for sensitive wires and other components in medical devices, fluid-handling systems, and oil-exploration equipment, among others.

The tubing is an alternative to traditional protective coatings such as fluoropolymers and works in harsh environments where pressure, chemicals, water, or dielectric interference pose a threat to wires and electrical components. The tubing has a shrink temperature of 650 to 725°F, with a shrink ratio of up to 1.2:1.
