Fiber-Optic Amplifiers

Dec. 9, 2004
SU17 Series fiber-optic amplifiers come in a 10-mm profile for tight spaces.

They feature a simple pushbutton teach mode and include a digital display indicating incoming light level, adjustment steps, and scanning conditions. There are three sensitivity settings and built-in autotuning. These amplifiers are DIN-rail mountable and capable of providing simple target detection to advanced contrast sensing. Additional features include mutual interference protection to minimize sensor cross talk, attachment via snap-action lever, built-in timer functions, selectable light on/dark on, npn and pnp models, and cabled and pigtail quick-disconnect models.
