Nominal pressure rating is 5,076 psi and peak rating is 5,801 psi. The control system includes a high-pressure A4VSO axial-piston pump with swashplate design, a proportional valve with valve spool-position feedback, an inductive displacement transducer for swashplate-angle feedback, and an analog amplifier. An optional pressure transducer for system-pressure feedback is required with pressure and power-control functions. The DFE1 system also offers multiple pump combinations, internal or external control pressure via pilot pump, pump over center for fast decompression of trapped fluid, and a rotary group optimized for long life in standby operation.
