High-Resolution Bar-Code Readers

June 16, 2005
Two robust bar-code readers, In-Site 5410 and 5411, track parts and monitor processes.

In-Sight 5410 reads at line speeds in excess of 7,200 parts/min while its 5411 counterpart has a resolution of 1,024 768 for a larger field of view. This lets the 5411 system read bar codes with wide variations in position and orientation. Both readers provide omnidirectional reading of 1D and 2D bar codes and support an expanding list of codes, including UPC, EAN, 12 of 5, Code 128 and 39, and QR Code.
